Suggested Tips / Receipe

KEY INGREDIENTS REQUIRED

(a) Entire pack (150 gms.) NANA’S GOAN CHONYA-CHO ROS GRAVY PASTE (b) White Chickpeas (Vatana) / Kabuli Chana : 200 gms, soaked overnight. (c) Onions : (1 Medium) – Chopped fine. (d) Curry Leaves : (20 to 25 Leaves) (e) Coconut : (One full)- Grated, lightly fried in Oil, and ground with water, to a fine paste OR Coconut                Milk – 1 can (400 ml ), (f) Tomato : (1 medium)- cut length wise. (g) Green Chilies: 2 slit length wise.

COMMON INGREDIENTS REQUIRED

(h) Salt and (i) Cooking Oil -As required. (j) Fresh Green Coriander – Chopped (for garnishing)

3 STEPS – COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

  • Stir-fry (a) the Onions in (b) hot Cooking oil till golden brown. Add (c) the Curry leaves, and stir-fry further for some more time.
  • (II) Add (a) NANA’S GOAN CHONYA -CHO ROS GRAVY PASTE, followed by the (b) Coconut Paste / Milk. Add the (c) soaked White Chickpeas (Vatana) / Kabuli Chana (d) Tomatoes (e) the Green Chilies. and (f) Water.
  • (III) Pressure cook upto 3 whistles, till the Chickpeas / Kabuli Chana are cooked. Add more water if required to adjust the consistency / thickness of the gravy. CHECK for Salt, and garnish with fresh Green coriander leaves and SERVE HOT

  • TO INCREASE SPICE ADD SLIT GREEN CHILIES.
  • TO DECREASE SPICE ADD COCON PASTE / MILK

Storage Instruction

Transfer the contents into an air tight, dry jar on opening. Always use a dry spoon.
