Discover the gentle, golden embrace of Goa with Karma’s Caldin Masala Paste. This 200-gram jar pays homage to one of Goa’s most cherished culinary treasures—a curry that whispers rather than shouts, yet holds a place of pride in every traditional Goan kitchen. The name “Caldin” derives from the Portuguese “caldeirada,” a testament to the rich cultural fusion that defines Goan cuisine.

Unlike the fiery vindalho or the robust sorpotel, Caldin is the comforting soul of Goan cooking—a delicate, coconut-milk-based gravy tinged with the warm glow of turmeric and the subtle sweetness of fresh ginger. It is the curry that grandmothers prepared for gentle souls, the dish that soothed feverish children, and the centerpiece of quiet Sunday lunches by the seaside. We’ve preserved this beloved family recipe in a ready-to-use masala paste, capturing the perfect balance of mild spices, creamy coconut, and that unmistakable coastal warmth.

Our 200-gram pack creates a velvety, aromatic gravy that pairs beautifully with fresh seafood, chicken, or vegetables. Simply simmer and let Karma transport you to a Goan verandah where the sea breeze carries the scent of comfort and home. Experience the softer side of Goa.
